What is a 242 group?
242 is the official small group ministry of Coast Community Church. It is devoted to helping you live like the earliest disciples of Jesus Christ as recorded in Acts 2:42. It is a way to connect with others, grow in your faith, develop and nurture friendships, worship God, and bring others to know the love of Jesus.

How Does 242 Work?
A 242 small group is a group of people that meet regularly in order to fulfill Acts 2:42. They gather for Bible based study (the apostles teaching), relationship-building (fellowship and breaking of bread) and lifting one another up to the Lord (prayer).

How Do I get Involved?
This is the easy part. There are four 242 groups meeting in Gulf Breeze at the present time. You will find the information and directions on the table in the foyer. All you do is select a group whose location is convenient to you and come to the meeting.

Current groups that are meeting in Gulf Breeze:

242 East Small Group - Meeting 1 mile east of Wal-Mart, this is a group for Adults, married and single. They do a verse by verse study through different books of the bible and focus on growing in their relationship with the Lord and their relationships with each other. Mustard Seeds - Ladies Small Group for "mature" women who love to study the Word of God. This group meets Wednesday's from 6-8:30 at the church. For more info, contact Jo Cobb @ 449-3335

242 Navarre Small Group - Meeting in the Navarre/Holly by the Sea area. This group is open to Adults of all ages both married and sin gle. For more info, contact Chad & Pam Veurink @ 396-7929

Ladies Small Group - This group is for ladies of all ages. Meeting weekly on Sunday evenings at the church. For more info, contact Vicki @ 916-9771.

Men's Service and Helps Small Group - This group is for "handymen" of all ages who are willing to use their gifts and skills hands on to make a difference at Coast and for people in our community who need a "helping hand". They meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the church. For more info, contact Jeff @ 932-4516.

Bloom Where You're Planted Small Group - This group meets the 1st Saturday of the month and is dedicated to using their love for gardening to help beautify the property at Coast while also learning how to be who God created you to be right where you are. For more info, contact Diane @ 712-8041.

Hearts of Virtue - This is a sm all group for younger girls 7 and up where they can learn to be who God intended them to be. They focus on developing their self esteem, learning their gifts and being Godly Girls who grow into Godly women. This group meets the 3rd Sunday of each month from 2-5 p.m. at the home of Sheree Bell. For more info, contact Sheree @ 565-4296.

242 Pensacola Small Group - This group is for any adult, single or married. They do a verse by verse study through different books of the bible while focusing on spiritual growth as well and building relationships with one another.
